Tips

What to wear?

- Avoid busy patterns & clothing with words for a more timeless look.- Pick a few dominant colours to mix & match to pull imagery together.

- Try to avoid bright neoons they can cause a colour cast on your beautiful complexion.

- Adding fun accessories like scarves, headbands, hats, etc. can add a modern twist and sassy flair to your images.- Dress for the weather. If it's chilly, dress in layers and try to find cute, photo worthy coats/cute hats. We want you to be comfortable & relaxed in your photos!

Fur babies...

We love dogs! However they can get a little anxious or energetic during sessions so please make sure they have a really good walk or get some substantial exercise before your session. -Bring their favorite toy and treats.- A fun new matching collar, bow tie or bandana is Fab! And don't forget their lead!

Prep for the little humans..

People forget to eat and hangry photography is NOT FUN for anyone! Please make sure you're all fed + bring snacks! - Make sure your mini humans that regularly take naps, get their nap! We want them to enjoy the experience too & not feel grumpy. - If it's at all chilly, please dress your babies warmly. Hats are warm & very cute on babies! It will notice if you or the lil ones are cold in your images. - Bring their favourite toy or comfort, a teddy can make for some cute portraits & help them feel at ease - I always start my family photo sessions with the family all together walking, hugs and cuddles and that must-have classic “holiday card” portrait. Toddlers especially will loose interest very quickly so we like to try & get those in the first 10 minutes of the session I like to take more natural images so just be yourselves & interact with each other, I will give prompts when needed.
